Foundation LRDG
The LRDG Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to democratizing the classical performing arts.
Since its inception in 2020, the LRDG Foundation has organized over 100 events to showcase all forms of performing arts, from orchestral music to poetry readings, jazz, opera + wine, and even burlesque cabarets. The LRDG Foundation is in residence at Collectif MTL.
A truly unique building
The history of our premises
Our walls are full of history: the bricks and steel beams were installed in the 19th century by Andrew Carnegie.
He was the largest supplier of steel in North America and became the richest man in the world (at the time) when he sold his company (Carnegie Steel Company) in 1901.
